A New Year, a New Start!

New Year's is something that we all look forward to. It marks the beginning of a year and the end of another year. Everyone is looking forward to kicking off the new year with a bang and hoping that the year ahead brings them nothing but good. I, too, celebrate this great day with all the vigor that I can.

Three hours before the New Year, together with my family, we prepared foods and arranged activities like board games, charades, and video oke. Mother also arranged a prosperity bowl for a prosperous year. At exactly twelve o'clock on New Year's Eve, a new year was greeted with a warm blast and a smile. We ate what we had prepared, we played games, and we sang our hearts out. So much fun is involved that we totally forget the passing time. Welcoming a new year is always so heartfelt and loud.

As I sat alone in my room after our celebration, I reflected on how and what my previous year had been and wrote a resolution for how this new year would be. Life has been so good, and I have realized that this is my new chance to reset and to consider how I will shape my life to the fullest. 

Each day is an opportunity to live the life we desire. May we take advantage of this time and build upon what makes everything special and important. It's never too late; there's always a new chance for a better change. I hope for a prosperous and kindness-filled year for all of us.
